Join Country Cottage for Nurse of the Year Event

April 1, 2010 - PRLog -- CORINTH – When you’re at the doctor or in the hospital, the nurse makes all the difference between feeling better and feeling better sooner.  Nurses ease the pain of a shot and comfort you in scary situations.  Country Cottage in Corinth is again recognizing the extraordinary caring nurses in the Alcorn County area who are dedicated to patient care with the Fifth Annual Nurse of the Year Award.  The Alcorn County Nurse of the Year Ceremony will take place Thursday, April 15th at 5:30 p.m. at the Cottage on North Polk Street.
“We’re honoring the contributions of nurses in the area and awarding one as the Nurse of the Year,” said April Davis, Managing Director at Country Cottage.  
The Fifth Annual Nurse of the Year was chosen by a selection committee of community leaders including Jamie Jones, Marketing Associate of The Daily Corinthian; Serra Beth Greenlee, Social Worker with Cornerstone Rehab; April Davis, Managing Director of Country Cottage; and Dawn Owens, Resident Services Director.  All nominees will receive a certificate, and the winner will receive a plaque and $250.
“Everyone is invited to join us for the award ceremony on April 15th at the Cottage and help us say thank you to our local nurses,” said Davis.
