For the month of April, Escobedo Skin Center will be hosting an in-office donation drive supporting the UT Global Ethics and Conflict Resolution Summer Symposium.
The Summer Symposium is a unique University program for mature high school students combining academics, service, and research. Some of the topics explored will be: Negotiation Theory; Music and Art of Peace; A Devoted and Dynamic Family; Safety and School; Race, Ethnicity and Community; Civil Rights, Human Rights, and Individual Responsibility;
“Growing up, education has always been an important part of life. By supporting education, we can build young minds that will eventually flourish to young leaders of tomorrow. I encourage not only patients, but all Austinites to donate to this worthy cause. “– Dr. Michael Escobedo
The symposium will take place June 6-19, 2010 at the University of Texas. All donations made will go towards sponsoring a child who cannot afford the tuition for the event. If you are interested in helping sponsor a child for the symposium, please call our office at 512-347-9794.
