NEW YORK and TORONTO – Wizard Entertainment CEO Gareb Shamus is pleased to announce that Toronto Comic Con will return to the Direct Energy Centre, March 18-20, 2011.
In addition to the best in movies, comics, toys, video gaming, games, TV, anime, manga, horror, wrestling, original art, collectibles and more, fans were treated to panels by the casts of SAW and Caprica as well as film and video game previews by major names in entertainment like Microsoft, Sony Music, Universal, Disney and Warner Bros.
“We were so pleased with how the city of Toronto and its fans got behind this event and made it such a success, that we wanted to commit to 2011 right away,” said Shamus. “The feedback from attendees, vendors and media has been overwhelmingly positive, and everyone who was a part of this show has already committed for next year.”
Toronto Comic Con brings together fans of comics, toys, collectibles and offers a chance to see actors, writers, artists and the best each industry has to offer.
The 2010 Toronto Comic con is the first of nine scheduled to date this year across North America. Anaheim is the next stop, set for April 16-18, 2010, at the Anaheim Convention Center. With over 150 celebrities and counting, this show promises to be THE autograph show of the year!
