Faith Builders International Ministries presents its 10th annual production of “The Passion”, the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
According to Pastor Kevin Abuya, “2010 is the year of Elevation for all aspects of our church, and this show is no different. The acting is incredible, the story has been polished and has never been presented in this way before. And, it’s one of the most realistic, on-stage presentations of Jesus’ crucifixion that I have ever seen.”
The production of “The Passion” marks the end of FBIM’s 2009-2010 theatre season and they are planning to make it memorable, “There is comedy, drama, action, love and betrayal all intricately woven into the fabric of this beautiful, true story of God’s love for us. Imagine, sacrificing your own child for someone, with no guaranty that they would take you up on the gift you offered – the gift of being able to freely build a relationship with God. That’s what God did for us and Easter is when we remember”, said cast member Alex Tapia who plays Joseph, a disciple of Jesus.
Since 1999, Faith Builders has put on a full season of theatrical productions, all offered to the public free of charge. And, each year, the shows get bigger, better and have touched countless lives with their messages of love, joy and hope. The church is extending an invitation to the public to come and enjoy the show. “We welcome everyone. No matter who you are, where you come from and what your life experience has been, our doors are open to you, your friends and families, said Abuya.”
