"Prospects for Peace in the Middle East - A Report from the Frontline"

Scott Bates, V.P., Center for National Policy, has worked extensively in America’s efforts to encourage democratic development and combat the threat of terrorism. He will speak on April 21 at the World Affairs Forum’s event at UCONN/Stamford.

Stamford, CT – Scott Bates, Vice President, Center for National Policy, has worked extensively in America’s efforts to encourage democratic development and combat the threat of terrorism.  He will speak on April 21 at the World Affairs Forum’s event at UCONN/Stamford on "Prospects for Peace in the Middle East - A Report from the Frontline."  The evening starts at 6:15 P.M. with networking and refreshments followed by the lecture from 6:45 to 8:00 P.M.

Since the attacks of September 11th, Scott Bates has been focused on developing new approaches to protecting the U.S. from terrorist attack.  He was the principal author of Winning the War on Terror, a comprehensive plan that helped inform the 9/11 Commission.  He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginal School of Law, and an MS from the London School of Economics.

General Admission:  Free for Forum and Ambassadors’ Roundtable members, Faculty and Students, and $20 for all others.
