San Francisco: It's been quite inspiring reading the letters and emails that you all sent in over the years. It appears most of you who have been following my column do so for a reason, to look and feel your best. Luckily for me, you're not the only ones who get to benefit.
Yet Another Happy Customer, "Me"
It's always been a passion of mine to research and discover the best medical/health advances so I can share them with "you" my readers. Whether it's giving you advice on how to alleviate chronic back pain, or simply explaining how to instantly stop the itching from a mosquito bite, I always have the comfort knowing that I am helping someone who is looking for an answer. Here at the studio, I've somewhere along the way earned the title "Miss Fix Me".
As a woman approaching her forties, I personally feel that I have benefited tremendously from the knowledge I've gained while writing this column over the years. But as we all know, staying healthy and in shape becomes more and more difficult as the years go by. Recently however, things have gotten a little easier. I only wish I knew this earlier, but there is a supplement which has made all the difference in the world for me.
Let's rewind a bit. A few months back (just after returning from my maternity leave), my boss had recommended that I do some research on a supplement called Acai Berry. I've heard of the supplement before and was curious about its claims.
Believed to be the fountain of youth, Acai Berry has shown to have many benefits. It helps promote healthy younger looking skin, aids in weight loss, increases energy levels, contributes to a longer lasting life, and gives a sense of well being. Could this really be true? Was I skeptical?
As my research progressed, I was amazed at what I was finding out. I learned some pretty impressive benefits from Dr. David Sinclair, Associate Professor of Pathology at Harvard University Medical School. In an interview he did for ABC News, Sinclair said that a study showed that participants using Acai Berry had improved skin, higher energy levels and lived 30% longer. Other studies have shown that Acai Berry improves concentration and promotes weight loss. Was this all true?
So Here's What I Decided To Do.
Giving birth to my second child just 6 months ago (and yes ladies, the second one tends to take a bigger toll on you) I had returned to work 20 pounds heavier along with my energy levels way down. After researching Acai Berry for a few weeks, it was clear to me that I had to try the supplement for myself. I've reported on countless products over the years (some good, some bad) and I have even incorporated a few into my diet. Was Acai Berry going to be one of those products for me? Would it give me the energy boost that I needed and help me lose this weight?
Well, I first needed to figure out which brand was the best and where to buy it. After speaking with a few of my contacts, I found that Acai Optimum was the most reputable on the market. Finding out that they had a free* (only had to pay $1.50 for the shipping/handling)
My husband and I both received our Acai Berry trial 3 days later. It was a Friday and we both took our pills that morning. I came home from work that night and felt that my energy levels were higher than they should have been after a long week's worth of work. Was it the Acai Berry? I asked my husband how he felt. He also felt a bit more energized than normal.
We both continued taking our Acai Berry. When Monday morning came, I was feeling better than I had in a long time. I felt well rested and was pleased to see I even lost two pounds. But that said, I wasn't about to give the credit to the Acai Berry. More time was needed.
One Month Later...the Rest was History
Well, it looks like my husband and I were convinced. A month later and we were feeling great and looking great. We both lost almost all the weight we had gained. Our energy levels were way up and we just felt a better sense of well being. On top of that, my skin looks great.
Since taking Acai Berry I've received a number of compliments from people who hadn't seen me since I left work prior to my maternity leave. The usual comments were, "wow, I didn't realize having a baby can make someone look 10 years younger". Of course I had to tell them the truth and share my little secret. After all, I have to live up to my title, "Miss Fix Me".
Do I feel that Acai Berry lived up to the claims? Absolutely! To this day I've decided to continue taking my Acai Berry. To all my readers, give this one a try, you'll be happy you did. Send in the emails to let me know how it goes. The good news is Acai Optimum is still offering their free* trial ($1.50 for shipping/handling)
