Atlanta Fashion & Style Honors will Benefit Savannah College of Art & Design
This year, the 2010 Atlanta Fashion & Style Honors will award a scholarship to the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). The scholarship will go to a worthy Atlanta student for the Spring 2010 academic semester to advance their educational commitment to the art and design institution. The Atlanta Fashion & Style Honors is looking for sponsors to donate money and resources as the program benefits SCAD.
As the Atlanta Fashion and Style Honors goes into its second year, the awards show-which is aimed at honoring those in fashion in Atlanta- will do more to connect with the local fashion and style community by partnering with SCAD and other local businesses. The Atlanta Fashion & Style Honors benefitting SCAD will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Tickets are starting at $25.
Last year, the first Atlanta Fashion & Style Honors was held at Opera Nightclub and attracted more than 1,500 attendees from the fashion industry. The awards show was hosted by Dwight Eubanks of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. The fashion and style honors will be nominated and awarded to industry professionals as voted upon by the fashion community.
This year, the awards show will host a variety of monthly events leading up the awards show in September such as a "Meet and Greet" in April to introduce potential sponsors to the event, a "Sponsorship Brunch," a "Press Party" for media sponsors and local outlets, and a variety of social activities in anticipation of the main event.
