P3 Sports Care relocates to Huntington Beach, CA, providing a perminant solutions to sports injuries

March 31, 2010 - PRLog -- HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – P3 Sports Care is now in Huntington Beach.  Relocating from Orange, CA, P3 Sports Care in now in position to serve more athletes with a more central location.  

      P3 specializes in treatment and rehabilitation of trialtheles and golfers with overuse injuries due to overtraining or just saving their bodies from the brutal nature of their sports.  Chiropractic care is only one of the serves offered, but there is much more such as Active Release Technique®, massage therapy, and specific rehabilitation programs.

   Although many of the athletes are injured when they first come into P3, their injuries resolve quickly and a new goal is established; what caused the problem in the first place?  
This is what makes P3 different; looking at movement patterns and muscular imbalances is their specialty.  “When most people think of chiropractic care, they think of joints and spinal conditions.  This is not the case with P3.  Shoulder, arms, legs, and ankle all respond very quickly to our style of chiropractic care and Active Release Technique®.  Many times overuse injuries develop because one muscle is not functioning properly.  This lack of function will cause other muscle groups to ‘work overtime,’ making them prone to micro trauma and scarring.  We target the underlying problem and not just treat the patient’s symptoms,” explains Dr. Sebastian Gonzales.

   Pain relief is only one of the ”P”s in P3 Sports Care, so what do the other two mean? “Performance Enhancement and Prevention of Injury” As stated before, P3 looks at athletic motion and where overuse may occur.  “Many times it’s very easy to pick out injuries before they occur,” states Dr. Gonzales.  “People often don’t look but once they start to understand how easy it is they often send in their kids and the whole sports team for performance screenings, so it’s not just for adults.”
