The Northern California Minority Supplier Development Council, a local non-profit dedicated to promoting minority supplier development, proudly recognized the recipients of its twelve 2009 Excellence in Supplier Diversity Awards before an audience of over 350 distinguished guests from major Fortune 500 corporations, Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and strategic alliance partners. Special award presenters and honorary speakers included executives from Union Bank, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Kaiser Permanente, and D.W. Morgan, as well as the Senior Associate Dean of UCLA Anderson.
Over sixty corporate members and certified MBEs competed in the 2009 NCMSDC Awards Program. With the exception of the President’s Award and the MBE Input Committee Academy Award, all categories were judged by an Awards Committee comprised of corporate members and certified MBEs.
