New Training Company Forms to Offer Instructor-Led Classes
For Electrical Contractor License Renewal Course on Fire Alarms

Traditional Classroom Setting Brings Opportunity to
Transfer Industry Experience with Successful Outcome

Tarpon Springs, Florida, March 29, 2010— Fire & Security Training, Inc. (F&ST) of Tarpon Springs, Florida will offer their first training class on April 16-17 at the Courtyard Marriott in Oldsmar, Florida.  In addition to giving the required state-mandated training for the Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board (ECLB) renewal for Fire Alarm System Design, Installation, Testing and Code Compliance, the F&ST instructor will provide attendees with first-hand knowledge learned from over 19 years in the industry In a time when online training is commonplace, Charlie Ragghianti, co-owner of F&ST, believes there is a real argument for the traditional classroom.

“Rigid, structured online courses don’t allow for the give and take available in a classroom setting,” Ragghianti said.  “Our experienced instructors provide interactive, intensive training with effective business solutions tailored for the issues today’s technicians are facing.”

Ragghianti also believes the classroom setting gives fire and security alarm technicians a valuable opportunity to meet and learn from their competition. “In today’s economic climate, it’s critical for technicians to not only keep abreast of industry innovations, but also to know to their competitors and what they are doing.”

The fee for the instructor-led courses can be up to a third higher than those for online courses, but Ragghianti says customers will see the value.  “By utilizing best practices learned in our courses, customers can easily make up the additional cost.  Our training will give them efficient ways to provide a quality product and service to their customers while being fiscally responsible.  This is the kind of training I wish I’d had when I first started.”

Ragghianti, who will teach this ECLB course, has been responsible for training and mentoring dozens of fire and safety technicians.   Ragghianti has handpicked F&ST’s instructors, each of them experts in their area.

F&ST will provide Fire Alarms Systems Agent (FASA), Burglar Alarm System Agent (BASA), and ECLB training.  In addition to scheduled training, the company provides onsite education customized to a customer’s specific needs and will offer group discounts.
