SAN DIEGO, Calif.— SCS Engineers has been selected by the County of Imperial Department of Public Works to provide solid waste regulatory support services to the city of Calexico. SCS will resolve conditions of Calexico’s Solid Waste Site 5-Year Permit Review Directives.
To address these conditions, SCS will conduct a cover soil analysis, implement a trash screening device to protect the New River, reconcile property boundaries, revise the Solid Waste Facility Permit, and prepare a Preliminary Closure and Post Closure Maintenance Plan.
SCS Project Manager, Sarah Anunsen, will oversee the project supported by Project Director, Robert Johnson; Reviewing Principal, Patrick Sullivan; and Quality Assurance Review, Ambrose McCready. Nolte and Associates will conduct the necessary property surveys while Ultrasystems will prepare the CEQA documentation.
