BOMAG at bauma 2010
BOMAG has again received an award at the renowned iF Product Design Awards. In 2008, the new BW 154 AP 7t tandem roller and the BC 472 RS refuse compactor won the high-calibre jury vote. This year it's the turn of the new BMP 8500 articulated multipurpose compactor, which will be one of the BOMAG highlights at bauma 2010 in Munich on the FAYAT stand F1009 in the outdoor arena (http://www.bomag.com/
The award recognises not only the design, which was developed in collaboration with designers, Loew. The judges take into account aesthetic criteria such as workmanship, quality and functionality, as well as the level of innovation, the ergonomics and environmental compatibility of the products submitted.
"This third iF Product Design Award for one of our machines confirms the outstanding quality of our unique brand and product design," says Robert Laux, Vice President Engineering in charge of the new BOMAG brand image.
The iF Product Design Award has been one of the best known design competitions in the world for more than 50 years.
