TheMetroMan.com teams up with Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Chris Hurn, CEO/President of Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club, to discuss a possible product launch for their Pre Shave Oil, Shave Cream and After Shave Soother.  First off, our meeting went great.  Chris Hurn is an awesome person that has brilliant ideas (franchising Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club being one) and is willing to sit down with you to explain them as well.  At the beginning of our meeting, we discussed how TheMetroMan could position the product line so it would get the most visibility possible from the get-go.  Then we discussed how and when we should launch the products.   We still have yet to set a date, but we are preparing for a April launch… stay tuned for a more accurate date.

Before launching the products, we felt as if we should test the products first.  I’ve never really used a pre shave oil, then shave cream, then an after shave soother all in a row so this was a first for me.  Now believe me, we (TheMetroMan.com) carry a LOT of inventory so I have had the chance to try most if not all of the products that we carry.  I took home the Kennedy’s line-up and waited until the next morning to really take a shot at these products.  Let me tell you, these products are probably one of the best, if not the best, that I have ever tried.  The Pre Shave Oil is awesome, it comes in a little 2oz bottle that dispenses just enough with a pump or two.   It goes on super smooth and it REALLY does help soften the whiskers and smooth your skin.  The Shave Cream is great as well.  It has an awesome smell and is just the right thickness.  It doesn’t clog your blade and it actually allows you to get a closer shave than I have ever experienced before.  Then to top it off, the After Shave Soother is great.   It seems to leave a little tingle after it is applied.  Now don’t get nervous, the tingle is actually quite refreshing after the shave.

I usually do get irritation after I shave, but with this, no lie, I was clean and clear.  Unbelievable.  Well, check out the line, we will be posting prices and availability soon.  Happy Grooming!
