OKLAHOMA CITY, OK— Friday, March 26th, 2010, QuiBids announced that its voucher bids no longer count towards a customer’s monthly or daily win limits. Users will now be able to keep bidding in auctions, past their initial win limits which included voucher bids, so customers now have the opportunity to win even more items.
“We decided to make this change simply because we didn’t feel voucher bids should apply to the win limits.” said Josh Duty, QuiBids’ COO. “Voucher bids can be won in their own auctions and are given out through various promotions and other special times throughout each month. We wanted to give our customers more ways to win and have a better overall experience on our site.”
In addition to this new win limit update, QuiBids offers the Buy it Now feature on all of its auctions. Buy it Now provides a safety net for its users because no user has to leave empty-handed. At the close of the auction and two hours thereafter, every participant who didn’t initially win the auction, has the option of buying the product for its value price (usually approximates retail) less the value of bids he or she placed in that auction. Please note voucher bids cannot be applied to the Buy it Now, which are purchased through auctions, or given away through special promotions.
