Chamber’s Wedding Road Show goes live with NJ Discover on April 18

March 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Wedding Road Show brides and businesses will have the opportunity to "give a call out" to their families and fans as NJ Discover features live coverage to this one of a kind wedding planning event.  NJ Discover’s host Frank Dicopoulos, formerly of the Guiding Light Soap Opera, is no stranger to bringing the show on the road.” We have had great success in live events, the most recent being the Red Bank Wedding Walk with over 3000 unique viewers watching live and another 1000 watching after the event” states Dicoupoulos “In May, our show will be the first to cover the New Jersey Marathon live.”

NJ Discover is taking the interactive experience of the Wedding Road Show  to the next level; their crew and broadcast truck plans on stopping at each of the 12 venues that will be open during the event and plans on interviewing brides, vendors and sponsors throughout the day. “Brides will tweet and post and tell their friends at home to tune in either on air or online to see them, businesses should do the same,” adds Dicoupoulos “Start posting on Facebook, tweeting and emailing customers that the Road Show is live starring the chamber members and guests of the LBI Region.”

The Wedding Road Show is a self guided, wedding planning event that is held throughout the region, beginning at welcome points at the Stafford Heritage Center on Route 9, the Southern Ocean County Chamber Visitor Center at 265 West Ninth Street and at Tip Seaman Park, Route 9 in Tuckerton starting at 930am. The event is free and open to brides and guests, own transportation is needed. Brides will receive welcome bag with Road Show Tour Book and map that features venues and professionals that are displaying at this event. Earning prizes from individual vendors, brides can have each sign off the Entry Form to enter the for the Road Show’s Grand Prizes featuring a $15000 LBI Dream Wedding Package, a customized wedding cake or Wedding Consultant Services. Sponsors will also be giving away fabulous prizes such as WedAlert.com’s Honeymoon in California featuring 5 night stay in San Diego or Palm Springs.
