Phoenix, AZ February 14 2010 -- For most men valentines day is all about the girl. This V-day however men in the Phoenix metro area are treated visually to a new periodical.
Enter, The ADVIXEN. An ad-filled two-page publication hosting local business ads and upcoming event promotion.
Gracing the cover of The ADVIXEN is, well, a Vixen. A foxy woman. The 'Vixen' is a scantily clad model posing in a local establishment sometimes wearing apparel promoting a company or brand. Surrounding the cover model's picture is an exclusive number of ads for local products, services and events.
"I wouldn't forget an ad like that..." says 'W' the owner of ADVIXEN LLC. ('W' is short for William Cummer) "an ad spot in The ADVIXEN generally will appeal to the younger male audience."
Businesses and events that want to target the college age and young male market should find this outlet to be memorable and enticing to the readers of the periodical. You probably wont see an ad for cosmetics or purses, instead you'd be invited to attend a club, eat at a local restaurant, purchase new electronics and other adverts meant to appeal to men.
In surveying a number of patrons to the periodical, we found some that thought it to be controversial and others that wanted to know where to meet the Vixen model. "It's got my interest!" says Blaine B. a sophomore at ASU. The ads or the model Blaine? Either way businesses locally are happy to get all the exposure they can, and The ADVIXEN is sure to deliver. The ADVIXEN's monthly periodical is available free at locations around Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale Arizona.
