A recent TakeABreak.com.au survey on what we – and mums in particular - like to receive as gifts has shown that travel presents such as holiday gift certificates are the clear winners. Respondents ranked them way ahead (64.29%) of practical gifts (3.28%) and also ahead of new “toys” such kitchen gadgets (5.98%) as well as popular entertainment items such as CDs or DVDs (7.14%).
Some respondents went on to elaborate that a holiday gift voucher would be perfect to help them escape from their everyday, stressful lives and take a break from their routines.
Since it’s generally the lady of the house who organises travel, what could be a better surprise than organising her a surprise weekend getaway – with her partner, family or friends. If you can’t choose where she’d like to stay, a holiday gift voucher may be the perfect answer.
