What better way is there to celebrate May Day than exploring a vast array of colorful beads spread out like a giant garden of exotic flowers. Instead of dancing around the Maypole dance into The Intergalactic Bead & Jewelry Show for a one of a kind shopping experience! See the unique and incredible selection of beads, beading supplies, tools and finished jewelry. There’s a fantastic selection in one easy shopping location.
The show is the best place to find spring's hottest new bead styles! Another huge hit at the shows is the handcrafted jewelry designed by the exhibitors for the shows.
Eunice of Cincinnati says, “I look forward to seeing something fresh & new every time I come. It keeps you interested in the art of creating eye candy”. Ruth says, “I like the fact that there are different designers and vendors in one space. It’s convenient for shopping and you get to see a variety of ideas and supplies. Thanks for offering us great shopping!”
Intergalactic has a fantastic line up of exhibitors for the show. The exhibitors come from over sixteen states bringing an exclusive mix of beads and jewelry not found in the local area.
At the show you’ll find beads in every size and shape imaginable, including semi-precious and precious gemstone beads, seed beads, handmade artisan glass beads and exotic ethnic beads made from natural materials such as bone and wood. Visitors will be able to examine the beads before they buy and find the perfect beads to create their own unique jewelry.
There are several lamp worker and glass bead exhibitors at the show. Glass and lamp worked beads are unique works of art reflecting the artist vision. These beads are made of glass and can be molded, stretched and pulled into any shape imaginable.
One of the lamp work artists is Susan Barnes, Fire Goddess of GA. She creates American made lamp work beads and jewelry. Unlike many of the artists who begin by creating the bead, Susan begins by visualizing the finished jewelry piece and then conceives the beads and embellishments necessary to create the final jewelry design. Susan is a skilled master metal smith as well. She designs a unique line of rhodium pendants, pewter beads, buttons and focal points. She has dedicated the last 30 years to fashioning, designing and creating hand made jewelry and the last 11 years perfecting her glass sculpted beads. Come talk to Susan at the show and see her wonderful bead designs.
Susan is just one of the many wonderful exhibitors at the Intergalactic shows. All of the Intergalactic shows are open to the public, in indoor facilities and have both wholesale and retail pricing. The Intergalactic shows have something for everyone. So whether you’re a beginning beader or experienced jewelry designer you’ll find what your looking for at the Intergalactic Bead & Jewelry Shows.
