PhotographyCorner.com Announces the Winner of Contest Corner Challenge #72: High Key

Photography Corner ( www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced that Michelle Oppegard is the winner of the site’s latest Contest Corner Challenge, and as such has been awarded a 24” x 36” gallery wrap (a $170 value) provided by Mpix.com.  The recent challenge asked photographers to take a 'high key' photograph (a photograph that contains tones that fall mostly between white and gray, with very few dark tones).  PhotographyCorner.com began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued throughout the year.

By one vote, with almost 11% of the votes from a total of 23 qualifying submissions, Michelle won the recent photography challenge CCC#72 with her high key photograph of a pink flower and a tea cup.  This is the first Contest Corner Challenge win accomplished by Michelle, who is also a moderator on the site.

Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog (http://www.photographycorner.com/blog).  Only Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are eligible to win some of the bigger prizes, but all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest, and all have a chance to wins prizes in each contest.  Everyone is invited to participate in the week-long voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
