Creative agency Talk Back Media unveiled the look book for Melanie Auld Designs’ Fall 2010 collection of handbags. Talk Back Media designed, edited, and managed the book, which features product information and styled, fashion-forward photographs.
The look book showcases the line’s luxurious Italian leathers, which skilled craftspeople sew by hand. The book’s photos show how the bags’ reinvented classic clutch and satchel silhouettes pair with a variety of styles, infusing luxury in women’s everyday lives. Subtle embellishments like quilting, studs, and snakeskin embossing stand out in close-up shots.
“My design sense is luxury and elegance with an edge, and that’s reflected in the collection and in the look book,” says Melanie Auld, owner of Melanie Auld Designs.
The book also highlights several pieces from Melanie Auld Designs’ popular jewelry line. A chic fusion of fine and costume jewelry, it features the finest cuts of precious and semiprecious stones set in 18-karat vermeil and silver.
