“Green” Waste to Energy Facility Proposed by Freedom Environmental

Freedom Environmental Services (Pink Sheets:FRDM) announced today that it has signed a contract for 26 acres of undeveloped land in Brevard County for the purpose of constructing a state-of-the art “Green” waste to energy facility and full service wastewater treatment.

The proposed facility will utilize emerging technologies that are able to produce energy from waste and other fuels without direct combustion. Management believes that these technologies have the potential to produce more electricity from the same amount of fuel than would otherwise be possible by direct combustion.

“We predict that this is the next “big wave” in recycling and green technology,” said CEO Michael Borish. ”In addition to serving Freedom’s needs, we anticipate, but cannot guarantee, our “Green” facility will attract use by our competitors, creating an additional revenue stream for Freedom.”

The technology known as “Anaerobic digestion” has been around for decades. We believe it is a much more efficient process to treat wet organic material. It is extremely efficient in treating effluent and sewage.  Freedom’s management contends this “green technology” process greatly reduces the amount of organic matter which might otherwise be destined to be dumped at sea. While reducing “greenhouse gas” emissions, the process produces a methane and carbon dioxide rich biogas which can be used for energy production.

A company spokesperson noted that Freedom could realize substantial revenues from the sale of both the renewable biogas and the residual nutrient rich fertilizer generated from this new “Green” facility.
