The viewpoint of System One is that software must be user-friendly and functional. To keep up with the newest developments, System One has launched a plan whereby the underlying technology gets updated, making use of the .NET Framework from Microsoft.
During the last update, a number of new functions and improvements were added.
1. Listing performance
The list-sorting functions with their associated selection tools are revised with the aim of improving the speed with which the page is loaded. For some pages this makes a difference in processing time of up to 50%.
2. Tabs
In the list-sorting functions, tabs have been introduced that give new navigation possibilities. This makes it easier to switch between different lists. In the companies section, for example, sorting can be switched between office address, mailing address and Google Maps.
3. Selection Settings
The selection tool is revised so that each user can make and save his or her own selection settings. With the personal selection settings, one click can retrieve the selection of, for example, all promoters in Amsterdam. This is a handy function for offices where several booking agents have their own fixed selection settings.
4. New filtersin selection tool
A number of selection tools include new filters such as a new filter in the document selection tool that more efficiently filters by address. Moreover, there is an extension in the period filter so that date selections can be made for ‘from date x’ and for ‘up to date x.’
5. Google maps view
The Google Maps page in the company section is improved. Each selection is reflected on the map where the limit of 150 addresses has been pushed up to 1000 addresses. The limit could be increased because found locations are now clustered on the map. The orange balloons have been converted to green arrows. These arrows can be zoomed in on, making the companies in the cluster visible.
