Bay Technologies (Bay), a leading Australian provider of enterprise compliance solutions, has recently signed a contract with the Western Australian Departments of Attorney General and Corrective Services (DOTAG/DCS) to provide a Ministerial Tracking System, to replace their current unsupported system. DOTAG/DCS have recently undergone a Machinery of Government (MOG) change, which saw the Department of Justice divide into the two separate departments.
Bay’s solution for DOTAG/DCS is based on the MINCOR product suite, and will initially be used by to track all Ministerial correspondence, to improve the efficiency of the departments' correspondence business processes. The initial implementation is expected to be completed within 6 months of the tender announcement, however a long term partnership is expected as the solution has the capability to drive business efficiencies and cut spending across a number of other departmental correspondence business processes.
DOTAG/DCS's choice of MINCOR as the replacement Ministerial Tracking System will mean the departments are able to run separate but identical instances of MINCOR to track the different correspondence processes for each department. This will also enable detailed performance monitoring to be matched to internal key performance indicators.
Bay Technologies' CEO Mark Pickering was delighted with this win and said "This new contract confirms the company's position as Australia's leading provider of Ministerial Correspondence Tracking and Reporting Systems for Government Agencies. We will all be working hard to ensure DOTAG and DCS enjoy the same benefits that all our current MINCOR customers receive."
Bay looks forward to not only a successful implementation project with DOTAG/DCS but also working closely in partnership with the two departments in the future.
