Acclaimed documentary “Tales From the Script” is currently being screened in select theatres for a limited release period during the month of March. The Greenwich Village arthouse theatre Quad Cinemas, and the Laemmle Music Hall in Beverly Hills will screen the film until Thursday, March 25th. Directed by published author (“Dalton Trumbo, Hollywood Rebel”) and screenwriter (“The Last Round”) Peter Hanson, the film has been described as “a lively collection of war stories” by Variety magazine’s Todd McCarthy. With stark firsthand reporting from such award-winning screenwriting veterans as William Goldman (“Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”) and Paul Schrader (“Raging Bull”), Hanson’s documentary reiterates that, in all its feature-film franchising and cutthroat competiveness, there’s truly no business like show business.
