FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA – CNGas Group, Corp. (the "Company") announced this morning the beginning of construction of the new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station in Miami Gardens, FL. Charles Wainer, the Company’s CEO mentioned “…this could be considered South Florida’s first Compressed Natural Gas public station.” “We have been actively promoting the use of Natural Gas as an alternative fuel since CNG is a proven technology that results in huge savings in fuel expenses as well as tremendous tax benefits; it is non-polluting and great for the environment;
it is domestic and abundant and complies with all the new and future EPA emissions regulations, a truly win-win situation.”
Horacio Terzaghi, VP Marketing commented “The new CNG fueling station located on US 441 just south of Ives Diary road will provide CNG for many fleets in the area, including the City of Miami Gardens vehicles and it is estimated to start serving the public in July 2010.” Alex Dejtiar, the Company’s CTO said “…the station will be fitted with quick-fill self-service dispensers and a credit-card and fleet-card reader. The equipment is fully redundant and includes a backup generator; the station will have the highest availability.”
The company is planning additional locations throughout South Florida.
