Jumana Judeh
Jumana Judeh, president and CEO of Judeh & Associates, was presented with the Diana Keller Women of Achievement Award by The Wayne County chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW). The presentation was held on March 22nd at the annual Women’s History Month reception at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.
Judeh was selected by the Wayne County NOW award selection committee for her dedication to women's issues, particularly in business, including founding and leading the Arab-American Women's Business Council as president, as well as chairing the Affordable Housing Task Force for Vista Maria, a court ordered shelter for troubled girls.
21st District State Representative Dian Slavens and Emma Bell, Chair of the Michigan Women’s Commission and Director of Public Affairs for the Wayne County Commission, were similarly recognized at the Dearborn event.
“This was an unexpected but greatly appreciated honor,” said Judeh. “To be recognized with such distinguished contemporaries is both humbling and rewarding.”
Judeh holds the General Accredited Appraiser (GAA) designation from the National Association of Realtors and the Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) designation. She has provided expert testimony to the Wayne County Circuit Court, District Court, Michigan Tax Tribunal and American Arbitration Association, as well as being appointed by Governor Granholm to the Council of Labor and Economic Growth.
