Harbinger Knowledge Products recently participated in world’s three best conferences in the area of learning and training namely Learning Technologies 2010 in London, Training 2010 in San Diego and ASTD Techknowledge in Las Vegas. Harbinger’s speaker sessions at these conferences about ‘Emerging Trends in Interactivity’
Vikas Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, Harbinger Group spoke about ‘Emerging trends in interactivity:
At the Learning Technologies expo, many users flocked together at the Raptivity booth. The Raptivity team present at the booth discussed new ideas with them, tried to understand their requirements and get their feedback. The channel partners of Raptivity also had their booths at the conference. The great synergy between channel partners and the Raptivity team helped the users in receiving answers to their technical questions about Raptivity, tips and some innovative ideas about the effective use of Raptivity.
At the Training 2010 Conference in San Diego, Janhavi Padture, Director of Strategy, Research and Analysis at Harbinger Group spoke about ‘Developing Next Generation Interactive Learning – Trends and Practices’. In this session, Janhavi illustrated the key trends in interactive learning at operational as well as strategic level. Then she described the paradigm shift in instructional design with Edumercial, Agile Learning, mMercial and Interactive ILT. Lastly, Janhavi talked about rapid interactivity building technology and the common platform approach for interactivity building.
The Raptivity booth at ASTD Techknowledge 2010 constantly drew conference participants. The numbers visiting the booth never dwindled even once throughout the duration of the conference. After looking at the wide variety of Raptivity games, simulations, video and 3D interactions, the customers and users expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the team for pressing forward with their innovative ideas.

Such tradeshows provide us great opportunity to have face-to-face meetings with many of them and understand their needs.
