Telax Hosted Call Center
TORONTO – Telax Hosted Call Center today introduced new Financial Controller Antonio Romaguera Santos. Mr. Santos, who began work in July 2009, is responsible for managing Telax Hosted Call Center’s financial portfolio, including all budgets, forecasting and investor relations.
“Antonio brings a wonderful breadth of experience to Telax,” said Mario Perez, President and founder of Telax Hosted Call Center. “His extensive experience in telecom is a great asset to our company.” Santos worked 8 years in Rio de Janeiro for Brazilian telecom giant Oi before moving to Toronto to complete an MBA at York University’s Schulich School of Business.
During his time at Brazil’s largest landline telephone company, Antonio held a number of increasingly challenging roles including Financial Manager of Business Development and Financial Controller of Oi’s Wireless Division from 2003 to 2004. Prior to Oi, Mr. Santos worked in the Investment Division of one of the world’s leading financial firms, UBS.
Santos commented: “I’m very excited to be working with Telax. There is a great team of entrepreneurs driving this business and I look forward to dealing with all the challenges that our ambitious growth will present.” In addition to an MBA, Antonio holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering. As part of the Telax team, he lives and works in Mississauga, Ontario.
