Bands Featured in Backstage Artist Lounge Videos Presented by VIDA Internationale and Firefly Vodka

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- (Austin, TX) – Firefly Vodka and Vida Internationale finished a successful week of South By Southwest where Backstage Artist Lounge™ Tour interviewed 70 bands for RealTV Films. The viral video series can be viewed on YouTube, Facebook and hundreds of other websites. Hosted by Christina Martin of the Backstage Artist Lounge, this series of band interviews explores “flavors” of music as homage to Firefly’s leading position in the Sweet Tea Vodka category—Sweet Tea Vodka, Raspberry Tea Vodka, Peach Tea Vodka, Mint Tea Vodka, Lemon Tea Vodka—as well as their Sweet Tea Bourbon. Interviews also posed the question to bands, “have you seen Agent Vida?” to generate awareness for Vida Internationale’s official mascot, Agent Vida.

Firefly Vodka launched “Flavor The Music,” www.fireflyvodka.com/flavorthemusic, which allows bands to earn cash and status as the official song of particular Firefly Vodka flavors through a contest currently accepting entries. “Flavor The Music,” as well as “Agent Vida,” are highly interactive opportunities that fans can follow via Facebook and Twitter. Music fans are in for a treat this week as this video series releases onto all social media sites…featured band interviews include A New Revolution, Neon Trees, Audible Mainframe, Ponderosa, Dan Black, Carney, Kashmir, Shirock, Oh No Not Stereo, Ben Rector, Frankie White and the Dead Idols, Sturdabakerbrown, Eye Alaska, Bear Hands, Matt Lowell, Ninja Sonic, River City Tan Lines, Dance Party, Emii, Becca, Ahimsa Sunrise, The Colourists, Halo Stereo, Crash Kings, The Royal Heist, Foxxglove, Morcestra, Michael Menroe, Barcelona, Kiss Kiss, The Law, Vanaprasta and Ionia, just to name a few!

Especially poignant moments in shooting this series included Vanaprasta’s spontaneous jam session on the Firefly Vodka RV, followed by the band Dance Party living up to their name. Southern rock band, Ponderosa, were especially entertaining personalities on camera. Skyler Nielsen, lead singer of Oh No Not Stereo, wowed producers with his piano skills. Halo Stereo demonstrated very healthy imaginations with their hilarious answers to the question “have you seen Agent Vida?”
