Mark of Excellence was selected as general contractor for the remodeling of the Cordiano family home in Middletown that is the focus of the fourth episode of Home Rules. They had just four days to complete all the necessary demolition, construction and finishing, while the homeowners were sent to stay elsewhere. Although specifics can’t be mentioned until the show airs, the work was quite extensive, and the family was unaware of exactly what changes were being made.
Mark of Excellence Remodeling owner Mark Elia was initially surprised and a little unsure when approached to do the show, but like any good business owner, decided to take a little risk and forge ahead. The whole thing came together in a matter of three weeks; Mark of Excellence was responsible for supplying all the appropriately licensed local trades people, plus sourcing all the framing lumber, millwork, windows, flooring and 2 sets of French doors for the project.
Mark of Excellence Remodeling has been in business for over 20 years, and has developed an outstanding reputation for home improvements. The company has won a number of both trade and consumer awards and offers customers unique design and build services, green remodeling and professional handyman services.
