83 Degrees South Pioneers with Value Based Learning™ at CeBIT 2010

brings together thought leaders on technology enabled innovation, Founder and Managing Director Mr. Fanuel Dewever was invited to share his vision on The Future of Learning. It was at that occasion that he introduced “Value Based Learning ™” Mismatch in the learning market

fundamental mismatch between supply and demand in the learning market”, Mr. Dewever said.
“Learners often don’t find training and coaching at a price that they perceive as correct. On the other hand, suppliers often face empty seats or cancellations because they were not able to asses the value of their offer correctly!”

“To enable Value Based Learning™ on a large scale, we have built and launched an online matchmaking platform. We are now piloting technology and are testing it with a few lead customers and partners”. When the trials are successful, our new platform will be publicly launched after the summer.
To prove that “Value Based Learning™” can also be implemented without technology, 83 Degrees South also offers its own courses in such model. For its PRINCE2™ Summer School weekend in Dublin this summer, it invites learners to define there own learning agenda and project management practitioners to bid for their contributions.
