Patterns, Passages & Prayers is on show in Tamarind Village, Chiang Mai, until April 30th and features works by American researcher Victoria Vorreiter.
The photographs on show will "take you through the way of life of mountain peoples in the Golden Triangle".

As well as the display of photographs, travellers can also choose to take part in one of the walking tours which leads visitors through Tamarind Village, while offering interesting stories about the region.
Tours leave from the Chiang Mai Cultural Centre every Friday at 16:30 (local time) and last for approximately one hour. It is free to attend the tour as well as to see the exhibition.
The photographs are accompanied by a number of tribal artefacts. It focuses on everyday activities, such as weaving, harvesting crops and looking after livestock, as well as featuring events including marriages and births.
