The normal return fares of Adult £3.50 and child £2.50 will apply and prior booking is not required. Trains will run from 11.00am to 4pm every day. Normal steam trains are also running every day over the Easter school holiday from March 27thth to April 11th.
The railway is always steam operated using half size narrow gauge style equipment. The trains will also run every Saturday, Sunday and school holiday to the end of October and Wednesdays from June to end of September. The latest Easter event information is at www.rlsr.org
The Rudyard Lake Steam Railway is located 2 miles North of Leek in Staffordshire. The railway, which is 10.25 inch gauge runs for 1.5 miles from Rudyard Station along the side of Rudyard: Lake before terminating at Hunthouse Wood. It runs through delightful scenery along the old North Staffordshire Railway track bed of the Churnet Valley line that ran from Leek to Macclesfield.
