Peninsula Shops Moves Into Hyper-local Real-time Search

March 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Redwood City, California -- Peninsula Shops has quickly entered into the world of hyper-local marketing on the San Francisco Peninsula and will now enter into the world of real-time search. The soon to be release customized search tool utilizing Peninsula Shops specific merchant data and geographically targeted user requests will allow the community to see who is talking about what within the Twitter network. Not only will the search results be based on keyword and geographic criteria that is set by the user, but the results will populate a customized Google Map using Google Maps API.

Augmenting real-time search results from Twitter in correlation to a unique Peninsula Shops business member map will help the community and users of Peninsula Shops website http://www.PeninsulaShops.com. The new tool offers a visual understanding of how many public spaces, valued merchants, professionals and services physically exist next to the conversation topics being searched on the Peninsula. While the real-time search tool has been officially announced and is out of incubation, a public beta release will be available on the website within the month of April.
