Gorham, Maine Dancers Receive Top Performance Awards
March 23rd, 2010 – The Dance Studio of Maine announces results from the Show Stopper 32nd National Tour Dance Competition held March 19-21, 2010 in Exeter, New Hampshire.
From dance teams around New England, a panel of independent judges chose their favorite performers. The Dance Studio of Maine’s Mini's Jazz and Mini's Hip Hop Groups were awarded Platinum Awards and top prizes in their respective divisions.
Mackenzie Goudreau received a Platinum Award and earned 2nd place in her age group for Lyrical Dance.
All of the Dance Studio of Maine’s Junior Groups placed in the top 10, and the Hip Hop B Team received a Platinum Award and 1st place in all of the Senior Large Group Competitions. The Dance Studio of Maine’s Adult Competition Tap team won Platinum and 1st place in the Adult Group,
