IQS was honored as a technology partner along with PointePrecision, a winner of the Progressive Manufacturing 100 Awards, presented by Managing Automation, a Thomas Publishing Company, LLC media brand. In the category of Data and Integration Mastery – Enterprise Integration, the award recognized Pointe Precision’s use of IQS’ Enterprise Quality Management System along with Epicor’s  Avante System to allow the team at Pointe Precision to quickly respond to customers,  solve problems faster, and support their initiative to  eliminate quality-based problems.

The Progressive Manufacturing 100 Awards Program recognizes 100 projects that have leveraged technology to create business value in at least one of the eight core disciplines. The award disciplines include: Business Model Mastery, Customer Mastery, Supply Network Mastery, Data & Integration Mastery, Innovation Mastery, Training & Education Mastery, Leadership and Operational Excellence.

Project nominations were reviewed by an independent judging panel chaired by David Brousell, Editor-in-Chief, Managing Automation. Judges evaluated and scored nominated projects based on the following criteria: scope of mastery, business impact, use of technology. Progressive Manufacturing 100 winners were the companies receiving the highest total scores in their respective categories.

The Progressive Manufacturing 100 award winners will be honored and presented with their awards at the 2010 Progressive Manufacturing Summit, taking place May 3-5 at the Breakers in Palm Beach, FL. In addition to presenting the awards to the Progressive Manufacturing 100 winners, Managing Automation will also announce the High Achievers in each of the 8 disciplines as well as the 2010 Progressive Manufacturer of the Year.
