Viera and the greater Brevard County are very fortunate to have the Brevard Zoo which has donated over $200,000 to support local and global researchers and conservationists. To assist the zoo in its efforts to preserve endangered and threatened species and their vulnerable habitats, the GFWC Viera Woman's Club presents,
“Viva Verde”
“Viva Verde” will be held at the Lexus Dealership in Viera from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Lexus is located at 6927 Bromley Drive, Viera, Florida 32940. For a $25 donation, attendees at this adults-only event will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, beverages, conservation displays, and a live band. Tickets will be $30 at the door.
100 percent of ticket sale profits will go to Conservation efforts of the Brevard Zoo.
The GFWC Viera Woman's Club will also have a 50/50 drawing as part of the event to benefit General Federation of Women Club (GFWC) partners currently assisting with recovery, relief, and rebuilding efforts in Haiti – CARE, Heifer International, Plan USA, Save the Children, and UNICEF.
