Later this week hundreds of environmental and indoor air quality (IAQ) professionals from across the globe will converge in Austin, Texas to learn about mold, environmental sampling, lead, asbestos and much more. At the conference there will be the option for training for the Certified Lead Renovator Course which is scheduled to become a requirement for some in April of 2010.
The EIA Annual Conference & Expo is the place to learn new skills and see firsthand the latest technologies that impact environmental professionals. “The annual EIA meeting is a great place to learn, network and earn continuing education points from several major environmental bodies,” reported Paul Cochrane, president of Cochrane & Associates, LLC., a marketing and public relations specialty firm. “The new IAQ Video Network will also be filming a news segment to be posted on YouTube and www.IAQTV.com following the event,” he continued.
Close to 40 companies and associations will be exhibiting including such well known industry institutions as EMSL Analytical, American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) and Legends Environmental Insurance Services. Mr. Cochrane continued, “If your company is involved in the environmental industry this is a great event to attend. From three days of excellent educational tracts to innovative products and services in the expo hall, it is sure to be a grand event.”
Mr. Cochrane first had the opportunity to attend the EIA Conference & Expo in 1998 in Las Vegas while holding the position of Vice President of Business Development for Aerotech Laboratories, Inc. At the 2010 event he will be working the ACAC booth.
