EVENT: Please join The George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) for a Policy & Research Forum examining the relationship between violent and non-violent extremism.
Jamie Bartlett and Jonathan Birdwell of the British think tank Demos will present the findings of their two year project analyzing the relationships that exist between violent and non-violent extremists in the UK, France, Denmark, The Netherlands, and Canada. Their research represents the most extensive attempt yet to compare non-violent and violent radicals. During this forum, Bartlett and Birdwell will also discuss what lessons might be drawn for US counter-radicalization strategy.
