This data can be used in many government applications including those in Economic Development, Urban Planning, Public Safety, and Emergency Management. TraffixMetrix can be a real time saver for those who use traffic counts. Getting the data from one source with quarterly updates is much more efficient that pulling the data together from multiple sources.
Telecommunications infrastructure datasets from GeoTel Communications, Inc. are widely used in governmental GIS applications giving insight into growth, protection, and security.
