Linxter, Inc., provider of message-oriented cloud middleware, today announced that Founder and CEO Jason Milgram will be presenting a cloud-enabled robot at the upcoming Orlando Code Camp. Milgram will show his audience of software developers how to build a robot and control it from anywhere in the world using cloud computing.
In addition to demonstrating how the robot was built – from the physical components to the coding – Milgram will allow members of the audience to control the robot. The robot is controlled remotely through a C# client application running on a laptop. Thanks to Linxter’s cloud middleware platform, the application and the robot are able to exchange messages in a secure and reliable manner over the Internet.

Linxter allows developers to reap the benefits of middleware without having to administer any infrastructure or carry out any specialized coding. The technical barriers to securely and reliably linking disparate programs – message polling, transactional queues, X.509 message encryption, authentication and authorization, internet connection retries, non-repudiation, and file chunking – are bundled up and automated within the Linxter platform.
