Spicy Condiment Contest Accepts Entries

The Hot Pepper Awards 2010, spicy condiment contest, opens for submissions.
 
March 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The Hot Pepper Awards 2010 (4th annual) has opened their call for entries!

THPA is a fiery-foods competition accepting hot products of all kinds! Categories include Hot Sauce, BBQ Sauce, Salsa, Dry Spice (seasonings, rubs, mixes...), Condiment (ketchup, mustard, steak sauce...), Sweet Condiment (jelly, jam, honey...), Snack/Sweet (jerky, chips, candy...), Extreme Product, and Open Class (miscellaneous hot), with many sub-categories.

Your product must have heat; any heat level, from mild (1) to extreme (10+). The heat is usually from chili peppers but can also be from spices, horseradish, wasabi, or other heat providing ingredient.

The Hot Pepper Award is the overall top category award. There are also 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for sub-categories.
