DETROIT - Positive Detroit is celebrating spring with a new name, Upgrade Detroit. The non-profit group will host a special show about the changes in Detroit’s Public School system on Sunday March 28, 2010 at 8p.m. The online radio show “Upgrade Detroit” will feature a special interview with David Flanagan, founder and director of Detroit-

The organization changed its name to respond to the outcry for change from the citizens of Detroit.
“People wanted a movement to change the image of the city of Detroit,” said Upgrade Detroit publisher Hartford Matthews. “ We wanted our name to reflect more than just a cause, but a movement that people will remember for years to come.”
