Sony Ericsson Vivaz Cosmic Black Edition
The Cosmic Black edition of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz has a new partner in crime, the new Moon Silver colour variant has now joined the range offering a sleek silver finish to its exterior casing with some very fetching blue accents down each side.
Both phones offer exactly the same great features including the all important HD quality video recording capability as well as the 3.2 inch touch screen display for watching back those works of art. Ther is even a TV-out function that lets you plug your Sony Ericsson Vivaz into a TV (preferably HD Ready for optimum performance)
Joining the Black and Silver colour variants of this latest handset is a further red edition known as both the Venus Ruby as well as Ruby Red model, again it is only the colour of the casing that changes with this model featuring a metallic red finish.
There is only one other colour scheme left in the Sony Ericsson Vivaz range to be released, this is known as the Galaxy Blue edition and opts for an all blue colour scheme across the entirety of its housing.
Also featuring an 8.1 mega pixel camera for still photography with built in face detection for automatic face finding and focus the Vivaz is an all round imaging device.
In terms of camera functionality, competition comes in the form of the Samsung Tocco Ultra, Sony Ericsson Aino and W995 as well as the newer Sony Ericsson Satio which bumps the resolution up to 12.1 mega pixels.

The Vivaz screen is matched by many new handsets including the Samsung Omnia 2, Nokia x6 and N97 Mini edition, LG Pop and Motorola Milestone which along with the N97 mini also packs in a slide out Qwerty keyboard.
The moon silver edition Sony Vivaz is now available on Vodafone, Orange, O2 and T-Mobile whilst the Cosmic Black model has yet to make it onto the O2 network, the red edition is a Vodafone exclusive handset for a limited time period and is expected to be released on further networks afterwards.
There is still no confirmed release date for the forthcoming blue colour variant although rumours point to the end of March for a SIM Free launch, the network may pick this fourth colour scheme up after this time.
