Jill Wine-Banks joins ESC's Board of Directors

Jill Wine-Banks, a resident of Evanston, was recently welcomed to the Executive Service Corps of Chicago (ESC) Board of Directors.

Jill Wine-Banks comes to ESC with leadership experience ranging from the law to the corporate sector and public education. Among the positions she are; prosecuting Attorney for the US Department of Justice (including service at the Watergate trial), General Counsel of the US Army, Partner at Jenner & Block, Solicitor General & Deputy Attorney General for the State of Illinois, Executive Vice President & COO of the American Bar Association, various management positions at Motorola, Maytag, CEO at Winning Workplaces and Chief Officer of the Office of Education-to-Careers at the Chicago Public Schools. Currently Jill is a management consultant with F & H Solutions Group. Among her community activities, she currently serves on the board of trustees at Roosevelt University, the board of directors of Project Lead the Way and the Advisory Board of UIC Center for Economic Education, and is a member of the Chicago Network.
Executive Service Corps of Chicago (ESC) provides capacity-building consulting services for over 150 nonprofit and public agency client organizations every year. Engaging a volunteer consultant corps of over 270 volunteers who offer the expertise, skills and knowledge they developed through long-time leadership careers, ESC equips nonprofits and public agencies with insights and guidance to provide the best in programs and services for the constituents they serve.
Operating for more than 30 years as Chicago’s largest nonprofit consulting firm, ESC provides leadership, management, governance and transformation services to public libraries, schools, community health providers, park districts, arts and culture organizations, municipal agencies, philanthropic organizations and more. Services are delivered at a cost far below market-rate thanks to ESC’s volunteer consultants’ annual contribution of over 23,000 hours of time and expertise, coupled with the generous financial support of ESC’s foundation, corporate and individual donors. Working with ESC, more than 150 nonprofits and public agencies every year improve their operations, develop their leadership and build stronger futures. In doing so, they are better equipped to provide the best in programs and services for the more than 900,000 Chicago area residents that depend on them every year.
