Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals, a vacation rental provider located in Colorado ski resort areas, announced today plans to expand their markets in the Telluride and Steamboat ski resort areas. The news comes shortly after a 57% sales growth announcement by the company last week. “We will be expanding into the new markets by August for the 2011 ski season, and then into more ski, beach, and urban markets in 2012,” stated founder Tommy Z. Hoffman.
Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals will be hiring sales managers for the future locations throughout the spring season. In addition to their expansion, Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals is anticipating an influx of capital to “Effectively expand into and realize immediate profitability from these new markets,” said Hoffman. “The vacation rental industry is growing as customers see the value in vacation rentals, while familiarity with this lodging option grows.”
The company, formerly known as Vail Ski Vacations, reported that 85 percent of its customers for the 2010 ski season will book their next ski vacation through Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals. The growth and expansion will provide jobs as well as bring business to other local ski industry businesses.
