The Alternative Board® (TAB) in San Antonio is announcing a major expansion into the city’s west side.
Effective April 1, 2010 Don Maranca will assume responsibility for a new TAB franchise in the area encompassing the Medical Center, Westover Hills and Helotes.
“With a dozen active Boards of business CEOs in the city, we had pretty much pushed the limits of what one franchise owner can handle,” said TAB San Antonio founder John F. Dini. “For over 12 years we’ve had the largest chapter of TAB in North America, but we haven’t had the capacity to properly serve this vibrant and rapidly growing part of our city. Don brings new expertise and focus to small and mid-sized businesses in an area that is ready for its own chapter of TAB.”
Mr. Maranca is a CPA and operations professional who previously owned Eventerprise in Austin Texas. He served in executive roles for Dell Computer and Applied Materials, and was also Practice Head for the Gerson Lehrman Group in Austin.
“The Alternative Board® delivers experience and planning tools to business owners, Presidents and CEOs,” Mr. Maranca explained. “They have been effective in helping thousands of companies grow, especially in San Antonio. I’m excited that we will be joining over 100 existing TAB members in the city who form a powerful network of practical knowledge.”
The Alternative Board® is an international organization of business owners who meet monthly to share expertise in a structured, confidential environment. There are TAB chapters in over 150 North American cities, as well as in Latin America and Europe.
