The long waited graduation movie has been held back due to school politics. It experiments with high quality 3D-effects and the storyline is added humoristic elements.
The five-minute movie will be shown on The Animation Workshop’s website and the general plot is focused on a young boy getting in trouble after spray painting a train. A guard catches him in the act and chases the boy, which starts a series of extraordinary and unexpected events.
The movie has been such a success that the creators have been funded to make a computer game for iPhone based on the same story and graphics. The game is developed in Unity3D, which is a game platform that makes it easier to create games in 3D.
So far Danish Film Institute and The Open Workshop have funded the founders of the game-developing studio with 20.000 dollars. Bretteville Hotspot supports with offices and the local university supports with programmers.
