Rich and Marie Little with the Easter Bunny
We’ve seen him on the late shows, in showrooms throughout Vegas and around the world... now, Rich Little and wife Marie take time out of their busy schedules to help E BUNNY... First, by donating 160 baskets, then, by asking the Vegas community to do all they can for local homeless and underprivileged children at Easter.
Rich and Marie Little’s Public Service Announcement encourages Las Vegas locals to donate Easter baskets to E BUNNY, a private outreach group that brings hope and joy to needy kids at Easter. The Little’s PSA runs through March 31st on radio and TV stations across the Las Vegas Valley.
2010 marks the 20th year E BUNNY has delivered Easter Baskets - with the support of the community - to children in need throught Las Vegas and Henderson. “We don’t ask much, just for baskets to bring some joy to these kids,” said Barbara Kenig, who started the volunteer outreach effort 20 years ago. “Think how a child whose days don’t have too many bright spots would be thrilled to get something special at Easter; then, pick a filled and wrapped basket you know would thrill that boy or girl. Just buy one basket for a child in need — they’re only a few dollars — then inspire the people in your life to do the same.”
