1. The best way to check someone's credibility on the internet is to check them out on a rating service named Alexa at: http://www.Alexa.com
The lower their ranking number, the more credible they are. As an example: Google is #1. If a website doesn't rank in the top 200,000 to 300,000 it is an indication that they really don't know what they are doing. There are over 3 trillion webpages currently being indexed. Where do you want yours to rank?
2. Search for the company using keywords that they should appear under based on what they do. If they know what they are doing, not only should they appear on Page 1 of Google for that search, they should dominate Page 1 in multiple positions.
3.Search for the individual under their personal name. Again, they should dominate at least Page 1 of Google.
An added tip is to type in their business or personal name in the search bar and add the words scam or review to see what comes up. Many interesting facts have been discovered this way.
